Operations Manager - process improvement (Salt Lake City, UT)

Stonegate Yarrow Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 826 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
