Operations Manager - process improvement (Sacramento, CA)

Cedar Beacon Construction is a Sacramento contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 528 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
