Operations Manager - process improvement (Sacramento, CA)

Westbrook Juniper Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Sacramento, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 522 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
