Summit Cobalt Construction Associates is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 89 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders.
