Operations Manager - process improvement (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Oak Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Sacramento, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
