Operations Manager - process improvement (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Forge Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Rochester working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
