Operations Manager - process improvement (Rochester, NY)

Bright Meridian Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Rochester, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
