Operations Manager - process improvement (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Keystone Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
