Operations Manager - process improvement (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Forge Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
