Operations Manager - process improvement (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Forge Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Richmond, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
