Operations Manager - process improvement (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Cedar Quarry Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 576 people based in Reno. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter readings and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
