Operations Manager - process improvement (Reno, NV)

Highbridge Harbor Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Reno, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 87 people based in Reno. What you will do • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
