Operations Manager - process improvement (Reno, NV)

Stonegate North Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people based in Reno. What you will do • Track performance measures for safety records and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
