Operations Manager - process improvement (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Junction Manufacturing Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
