Operations Manager - process improvement (Reno, NV)

Bluepeak Union Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Reno with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 168 people based in Reno. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
