Operations Manager - process improvement (Reno, NV)

Fernwood Keystone Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Reno, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
