Operations Manager - process improvement (Reno, NV)

Cedar Oak Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
