Operations Manager - process improvement (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Redstone Loom Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for permits and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
