Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Clearpath Sparrow Environmental Services Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
