Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Westbrook Birch Energy Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
