Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Stonegate West Farms Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
