Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
