Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Cedar Drift Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Omaha. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
