Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Silverline Sable Manufacturing Associates is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 730 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for scrap and rework and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
