Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Rivermark Union Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
