Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Rivermark Wren Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Sacramento region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for field records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
