Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Nova West Farms is an agricultural business based around Toledo, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
