Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Ironwood Granite Water Authority Partners is a public water utility serving the Tulsa area, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 189 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
