Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Bright Ivory Inspection Services is an inspection company in Houston with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
