Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Silverline Bright Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Birmingham. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
