Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Sparrow Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 131 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
