Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Nova Kestrel Manufacturing makes precision components in Albuquerque. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
