Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Nova Pine Manufacturing makes precision components in Minneapolis. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for machine downtime and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
