Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Cedar Maple Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Charlotte plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
