Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Vista Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
