Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Highbridge Meridian Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Omaha plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
