Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Harborlight Meadow Manufacturing Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 354 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
