Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Amberfield Mill Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around St. Louis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
