Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Basin Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Toledo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
