Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Silverline Cedar Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Seattle plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
