Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Clearpath Corner Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
