Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Ivory Facilities and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
