Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Fernwood Yarrow Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
