Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Ironwood Cross Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Las Vegas. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for collection routes and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
