Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Westbrook Mill Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Virginia Beach. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
