Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Corner Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
