Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Lakeside Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
