Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Redstone Umber Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
