Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Lantern Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
