Operations Manager - process improvement (remote)

Rivermark Bright Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
